Thats sounds like me kind of yesterday! i went to perch a rail to see if i could jump to attempt it. My friend was standing next to me. The drop was about 8 ft. So as i try to perch i got my foot stuck in the rail so i flipped over the rail head first and almost hit the concrete, but i caught the rail with my hands and flipped over and saved myself. Just saying cause it totally reminder of what happen with you.

when anyone finds themselves in the situation of a foot getting stuck on the rail while they are going over it, the definite best thing to do is attempt to catch the railing with your hand or if you are falling face first, try to roll on the ground at the last second!
