I love barefoot training,  the only problem right now is the cold,   and personally for the "bad" surfaces  VFF's do the trick nicely   you just have to watch out for the really big glass   and oh hellz yes barefeet for the mother loving win!

I read somewhere on the forums that "shoes throw off the natural bionics of your feet." Not only does that sound cool in a villainous sort of way: it's totally true.

I would try the vibrams, but I don't think I have enough flare to compensate for how funny they look (but that's just my opinion).

I wore some scuba boots the other day and discovered that they had super grippy rubber and a super minimalistic build, so they were basically like the feiyues, except they don't slip off your feet nearly as easily. As weird (and probably hilarious) as it sounds, has anybody ever tried training in scuba boots? Hope this isn't going off topic.

I think the only Vibram that looks decent is the black one. At least when someone asks, you can tell em " ninja shoes >.>".

I'd like to try to VFFs but the main reason I run barefoot is for my feet to breathe and feel the breeze. Oh hell yeah. ;D
