Alright, as you guys are aware the previous judges for the AYOC Contest are far too busy doing superhuman feats in real life. So with Gabe's permission, I'm now busting out this game again since it was lots of fun when it was alive.

RULES (same as before)
The game is simple. I, the moderator, will post a picture in this thread. You, the players, will look over the picture and give me the funniest, wittiest, most clever caption you can think of to go along with it. After a certain time limit or number of submissions I will judge the captions and decide who I think is the funniest. The winner gets a point, and the next round begins. The one with the most points is the leader, and after enough rounds have passed, the leading total will be the winner. They will not all be video game pics but here is a picture and caption to give you an idea of what I mean...
"So, uh...is that a no to dinner and a movie then...?"
Here are the general guidelines and rules...
1) Only one submission per contestant per round. Editing a submission is allowed but only to tweak a word or two. Complete reversals of submissions will be disqualified, as will all entries if more than one is given at a time.
2) The idea is to be witty and funny. So keep it relatively short and concise: it is a caption after all, not a story.
3) Swearing and sexual innuendo is allowed in small doses. A *bleep* to make the line finnier is okay, or a reference to body parts is okay, but Rated R is way too far. As Muse would say, "Keep it PG-13."
4) Since I am the judge, here are some tips: Think of something original. Internet jokes like "FAIL. LOL. H4X" are unoriginal, but can still be funny if used properly (again, it's going to have to be quite original for that to work). The more originality, the higher your chances.
5)
The time limit for each round is 24 hours OR 15 submissions, whichever comes first. No more, no less. (Personally I think that the more entries, the better!)
6) I and I alone will judge, unless express permission is given to someone else.
7) If you want to comment on somebody's caption or lodge a complaint or anything else, do it within your post of submission. That way things don't get bogged down with useless posts. Let's keep it smooth and fun, okay guys and gals?
I will do my best to judge each round after and as close to 24 hours as I can. I'm going to say my peak hours on the internet are around 6pm - 1am EST. So I'll try to judge around that time each day.
