We can start organizing for 2010 jams here.
"A National Jam is an opportunity to gather the active members of a community and a chance to invite people from around the country to come train in the spots you've grown to love. A National Jam should teach people how to properly condition, teach people to train respectful of training spots and of the people around them, give rules for dealing with authorities and media, and take the chance to have a large in face forum to discuss Parkour in general." ~Q Manimal
Edit- "Since National Jams are such a great opportunity to have so many communities and leaders together in one spot, this year we should try to take advantage of that a bit more. Lets see more formal, organized, group discussions. Whether they're the first day, or maybe over dinner one night, we should really be making a significant effort to make these happen. Discussion topics could include anything from how parkour is developing, how it should be developing, how communities could be run better, the importance of strength and conditioning, or anything else you can think of! But these national jams are simply too important an opportunity for shared knowledge to let them slip by again without talking more." - Zac Cohn
Community leaders, please post your jam plans and I'll try to keep my post updated. Admins and Mods, feel free to edit this post to add jams.
Try to include sufficient details or a link to the specific jam thread. Thanks!
