GOOD NEWS!

I just got done with an SGA Senate committee meeting for funding allocation at UCF, where I presented the proposal for the UCF Parkour & Freerunning club.  After grilling me and debating amongst themselves for about an hour, they approved us for $1059.95 worth of RSO funding, 7 votes to 3!

This means that over the next month, we'll be able to pay for promotional materials, training supplies, and whatever else we need for the jam, ENTIRELY WITH THE SCHOOL'S MONEY.

I've been fist-pumping for about the last hour and a half.

I guess the big jam will be the official celebration, but I know at least a couple of the tampa peeps are coming to o-town tomorrow for a session at 3:00.  You should come if you can!  Details are here.
