While I agree about rolls, I think practicing vaults and cat leaps/climb ups in the beginning isn't bad either, depending on your general athleticism. Some people find the majority of vaults pretty easy to do, and cat leaps are really simple too. It's just a matter of if your body can handle it, the coordination isn't very complicated.

I don't know your physical abilities though, so if vaults or cat leaps seem really difficult, go slower and get that body conditioned!
