Topic: Possible Miami Freerunning Holiday Jam Dec 19-20? Please check this out

Hey everyone! This is Rick from Miami Freerunning and we were thinking of throwing a holiday jam on December 19-20. Saturday would be a open gym day 11-5 likely with conditioning/workshops for those who would like to partake in them and Sunday would be jamming around the city/South Beach for those that are down here for both days. It's only tentative b/c we would like to see if there is any interest from the Florida community at the least before we let the gym know that we will be throwing this jam (no point in taking that time slot if 10 people are coming lol). The gym has 4 floors to work on, tramps, tumble tracks, blocks/vault boxes, 2x4's in various locations on walls for cats/dynos, high/uneven/parallel bars. So with that said, how many of you Florida guys would be interested in coming down to play with us?

This sounds like a lot of fun.  If there was enough interest to get a carpool together, it might work out.

We are actually interested in heading up to your jam also Thats why we spaced it out a little bit as to make it possible for people to head out to both jams. The worst thing that happens is interest isn't large enough and we opt to hold it in Feb-March instead so it's no big deal. Just thought it'd be nice to take advantage of the cool weather since it's usually really hot out here haha

Even if there aren't enough people for a big jam, it'd still be great come visit for like a day and connect with the Miami community a bit, we don't see you guys around very often!

Were talking it over with the gym this week and there will be a definite answer as to times and what not by Sunday latest. Hopefully we get to hang out and play with some of the other communities in south/central florida

any update on this? i am definitely interested in coming to this.

We will be having one but just decided to wait until the new year starts. Some of us will be out of town which we found out a week or so ago and then in a few weeks I think some of us will probably be going up for the Orlando jam. I'll keep this post updated for future developments.
