That's pretty funny, I live in Santa Rosa (a few hours south of you on 101) and I've got a week off, so I was thinking about places in driving distance for a PK road trip.  Humboldt came to mind.  I'm not sure I'd be able to do it now, but it's good to know there's some one up there.

Have you trained at the campus already?

I'm just getting into parkour from doing tricking for about a year, so I'm focusing on the basics and redwood bowl is perfect for this!  If you ever come up we should train  :)

I'm down.  I've never been that far up the coast.  If I road trip it up there this summer for PK could I crash on your couch?  What if I bring a carload of traceurs?  Down to play tour guide and show us all the best forests and crazy coastal hikes?

Also, if you have a car and can make it down to Santa Rosa to train sometime, there's a few of us with more than a year's experience in PK down here.

would love it if you came up tons of beaches and hikes...don't have a couch though I'm in a dorm.  Also I'm headed back to CO for the summer after my chem class.  I'm working on getting a car :)

When do you leave?

If I don't see you before then, I'll probably see you at the CO national jam then, eh?

Hey, Firedancer I just got a call from someone in Fortuna who wants to start training.  Let me know if you're still around and I'll put you guys in touch with each other.  Also, if there's anyone in Humboldt County who wants to put a jam together on a Saturday or Sunday and could host a couple traceurs on their couch for a night or two, I'd love to come up and train there sometime.  Let me know!

Thanks Alex... but Firedancer is from Humboldt, not me.  I'm in Santa Rosa.

(Not sure if you thought I was here or there, but sometimes I'm neither.  However, Oct. 10-12, I'll probably be in SoCal... see ya then?)

thank you guys for lookin!  I've found two other people to train with and hopefully it will grow in popularity from there.  During summer I was planning on having a place so people can crash if we have a jam other than that I still don't have spare couches.

I'd be down for that if you end up getting a place Firedancer, I've never been up that way so I'd love to check it out!  Keep us posted!

definitly I think summer would be great becuase rain kind of restricts areas.  There was a new section on campus built that is a great training ground I think it would be great for a jam!  so look for summer when I get a place
