parkour isn't about making videos though,   think of all of the parkour techniques?  take out the ones you don' use the most and see if you can get through the enviroments half as fast.

Actually something I've made an effort to focus on recently
For me, I'm a bit fearful of smacking my knees or face
I've been doing them pretty slowly and controlled and with more practice I'll be able to do it with more speed
But right now, I'm not very good at them haha

underbars really depend on the person! for me im 6'7'' so having to duck under a bar actually slows me down instead of vaulting over it... unless the bar is already elevated it's a lot harder for someone my size to pull off an underbar in a quick motion, therefore it really depends on the person.

the videos i have watched have had a few under-bars maybe two or three, but this is the way they choose to move your free to do whatever you want so if they choose, hey i don't think this will get me over here the quickest then let them be we all have our own flow. :)

Gosh, I hope not... the 360 underbar is one of the moves that cemented my interest in parkour in the first place. It just looks so cool...

[nostalgia]Can someone remember/find the video? It was in one of the beginning compilation ones... most likely from Urban Freeflow... there was a guy in a cowboy hat. Cowboy hat guy also got me into my favorite sequence, following a kong right after a dash. 7-8th grade so that puts it at about 6 years ago.[/nostalgia]

I've found a very low-impact and efficient movement by which to replace the typical underbar movement.  It's just as fast, without the risk and impact, still working on the landing.  You see, I realized you just step up and slide right through the rails just as fast as you can do an underbar through them lol.

That is really nice. That guy moves very lightly on his feet. Very nice to see :) I've been approaching training on a more creative side recently, similar to that. Some nice inspiration.

I think underbars in between railing 1 are harder than vaulting it 2 look cool  and 3 keep the flow better.

thats actually quite rare...

i love them but, have no where to really train them. anyone got advice for under bars landing it on something higher than you jumped from? i seem to slow down quite a bit by bending my legs and basically sticking my knees out to help stand up.

getting through something really tight is hard :(

(i hope at least some of this made sense haha)
