pain
« on: December 03, 2009, 12:24:39 PM »
I am havin problems with a move. I can't remember what it is called. When you jump and land with your arms on top of the wall and legs on the side of the wall. I feel like my toes are going to break especially if I increase distance or speed. Help?

If you're serious, you're going to have to post some more information if you want us to help. ;)

yeah, i'd reccomend looking up the move on youtube or finding a video with it in it, and posting a link here so we can better understand what your talking about

Sounds like a "cat leap" aka "saut de bras" to me.  You should be hitting the wall with the balls and pinky toe balls of your feet first, pull your toes up!  Your legs should cushion as well, and if you need even more cushion after you take the main impact with your legs then you let them slide down so your body will be flat against the wall.  Just don't keep your legs too high up when cushioning, else you won't be able to grab the wall properly.

Moving to the right forum.

My best advice for form correction is watching videos of people doing it right. Analyze what they do. ;)
