I'm a rowing refugee, and a female. So this is something new to try. Chances are I'll be terrible to begin with, since I've never tried parkour, but Ryan, I'm happy to train with you and we can improve together. Good to know I'm not the only one.

Welcome, Ryan and Taylor. If you haven't noticed, at the bottom of the forum is a section for colleges. UofM has a Parkour club so go ahead and introduce yourself down there. You can post your email address there (or if you prefer, PM it to me) and you'll get on the mailing list. Don't worry about being new to parkour, most of the members are.
