Sup guys,
Name is Brad, but you can call me Risp (short for Rispearski, a nickname from the old days). I'm a 24 year old Paramedic from Rochester Hills, Michigan (a suburb of Detroit). I've been a Traceur for years without knowing what it was, and only recently (past couple of years) have I been training the way I should be. I'm very heavily into nutrition, conditioning, and my recent engagement. I spent four years in the Navy working as a weapon system tech for the burliest jet of them all, the F-14, and had a short career as a search and rescue swimmer.
I only have one problem: For all the great PK that can be found in Detroit, there are surprisingly few Traceurs that I know of. In fact, I've never seen anyone interested enough to stop talking about it and DO IT. I'm very eager to be the representative of APK in Detroit (DPK anyone?), and I welcome any of you to contact me with ideas, words of wisdom, or general advice. Especially if you live in the metro Detroit area (go Wings!). Thanks for the chance to be part of a truly progressive, and genuinely new sport and way of life. See my thread on nutrition in the Diet forum.
