Cook the night before.  Pop it in the microwave as you're getting dressed.

Make a shake the night before and pour yourself some as you leave. Or drink it while you're getting ready.

Or any other assortment of fruit. I like to dice up a bunch of fruit (apples, bananas, cantaloupe, strawberries, etc. ), freeze 'em, and enjoy them in the morning on the way to school.
This post was based off of my personal gatherings. Enjoy:)

Cook the night before.  Pop it in the microwave as you're getting dressed.

Or cook for the whole week on the weekend...

Either way, easy way to have good stuff to eat in the morning like eggs.

Wake up earlier.

Pop-Tarts have some fruit in them and you can microwave them. Only takes 3 seconds. Sounds like that should fit in just fine.
Peace

Pop-Tarts have nothing that can be considered to be real fruit in them

I fixed it for you.

Tru fax, but if you're really into poptarts anyway, you can get ones from Whole Foods/co-ops/health stores that are real fruit and minimally processed. Also cereal bars and so on. They really don't cost that much more.

Still very low in protein.

Protein and fat should be an integral part of every meal, imho.  These suggestions don't contain very much of either -- all are exclusively carb, for the most part.

Agreed; many of these are crappy as a full meal, fine as a part of it. Add a glass of milk, protein shake, etc etc.

People forget to diversify their food choices in general, I think. They'd rather eat enough of one thing to get full than eat a little of several things to stay balanced.

If it comes down to no breakfast at all or an organic fruit and whole grain bar... the bar is better than nothing. But you can do better.

Yes, if you MUST eat and that is all that is available, then yes, a fruit and grain bar isn't the worst choice -- i mean, its better than drinking crisco.

That said, there is nothing wrong with missing meals, particularly breakfast.  You should look into intermittent fasting.

If you are going to eat you should be eating balanced whole meals including protein and fat.  These carby meals/snacks contribute very much to weight gain and overall "fogginess" of the mind because of overcompensating insulin regulation.

Somewhere on the recipe thread is a suggestion for quick breakfast mini-quiches but here is the concept again, for expediency's sake:

On Sunday evening, beat a dozen eggs in a bowl. Whisk in some chopped ham or cooked bacon, and 1 package chopped frozen spinach (thawed and well-drained). Coat a muffin pan with cooking spray. Pour the egg mixture into the muffin pan and bake until set (I don't recall the exact temperature but I'll guess 400--you can look it up on the recipe thread if you really want).

When the mini-quiches are done, let them cool a bit and pop them out of the muffin pan. Store in a ziploc bag in the fridge. Now you have 12 mini-quiches all ready to go each morning. Just grab and go. You can eat them cold or microwave them for 15-30 seconds if you prefer them warm.

Voila. A low-carb high protein breakfast. Eat 2 at a time, add a piece of fruit, a glass of milk, and some nuts if you want/need more food in the morning.

Another option is to buy a shaker cup. Put protein powder in it the night before. In the morning, fill it with milk, shake it up, drink your breakfast on the go. Not ideal, but it can work in a pinch.

as though there were some obstacle in the way;
and yet: as though, once it was overcome,
she would be beyond all walking, and would fly.

Although to back up a bit you never really specified what you want to achieve with your breakfast. I think in one of your later posts you mentioned losing weight. In that case I suggest either no breakfast and compensate for the lost calories/macronutrients later in the day (Intermittent Fasting) or a no-carb breakfast. (steak and eggs yay!)
