What have you done to change?
« on: November 03, 2009, 10:52:40 AM »
We all talk about the right thing, but I want to know what you did to change.
For instance, I used to eat white, but now I eat wheat. I also always try to reach for that water bottle instead of the soda.

Don't eat bread in general. :)

If you're shopping for yourself, make a list of what you want.. rather than buying stuff.

Don't take that candy out of the random basket when you're out places.

Water water water.

Drink water at every meal, milk occasionally, no more bread except rarely at dinner, but not doing even that anymore. No processed foods or candy. If I'm going to make an exception for a sweet its gonna b like a slice of hella good cake, not a crappy piece of candy!!

I eat more raw broccoli and other vegetables, and try to get enough water.  APEX Vegetable Parties of 2009.

The bologna was a cheat day  ;).  Truly though, I make an effort to eat raw veggies and fruits every day.  I think more so since August.  It's all Dudley's fault.

I avoid grains and starches, but eat them in managed portions if I want to mix it up a bit.  I've noticed, for me, that I function better if meat is a supplement in my diet rather than a staple.
