Parkour Over The Winter?
« on: December 09, 2009, 09:22:54 AM »
Does anyone Parkour in the Colorado winters?  I can't seem to do it...
Be like WATER. Be fluid, adapt to changes, move forward; just as the rivers do.  Be like FIRE. Spread yourself, but careful as well; flames can die easily.  Be like EARTH.  Stand tall in hardship, laugh in it's face, & never give in.  Be like AIR. Be light, silent; act as is if you are invisible

lol although you may look kinda weird, i like to wear my weight lifting gloves on top of my regular winter gloves, so that my fingertips are warm, the snow on rails and such are easier to overcome, and i still get the use of the friction with the rubber padding on my weight lifting gloves.

Hell yes.  :) Haha it just takes some serious layers and a good mentality.

Yeah, I led a jam here in Laramie, WY last weekend despite fresh snowfall and near-zero temperatures ("S**t, Daniel, you picked the worst possible day to jam!"). We didn't last long before we had to go warm up, but we still got some good training in. It was reminiscent of White Parkour :
