where you work?  Monday's I'm usually free around 3pm... wouldn't mind meeting up to train at various spots.  Wednesday's I'm usually at Uh's free open gym 8:30pm-10pm...Friday's I'm usually at Hawaii academy 6pm-8pm (I usually finish class @ 5:30 pm, but some days I'm done at 2pm).

So monday's and Friday's would work best for me.  I live in town (kaimuki)...I know tons of great spots to train around town... but not so many in kailua.... so you'd have to show me around there.  This friday most likely I'll be busy, but next monday we could set something up?  I like to go explore new places and have been wanting to get to a couple of new spots in town...we could do that, or if you got some nice spots out in kailua you like I could join you out there.  808-754-4800.

Hey Derek, on a quick note before I go home, you will find out in time that "go hard or go home" doesnt really go well with parkour.

On response to your post, I live in Kaneohe, pretty open to train during the week. Tons of spots around here too. Where do you usually train? Anything cool in Kalua? Hit me up man.

Kailua/ not sure about any good spots here I moved from town side (salt lake )about 3 weeks ago.  Found some good Buildering spots. but nothing worth running yet.

"go hard or go home"/parkour I would like to hear how you think these dont combine.

The harder I train (in anything): the better I become.
the harder I run: the faster I get to point A to B.

If I just "cruized"  aloha style, then im not going to get there fast or effeciant.

if I just trained half assed, im not going to progress,

I realized  by saying that I like to "Go hard or go home", I cut 90% of the population here on the island, wether its surfing, freediving, parkour, or gymnastics.  But thats what I wanted. The 10% who  are always looking to push to the next level.

hey derek I got your text...try not to text me, I don't pay for texts so it costs me $$ to open them  Embarrassed...but yeah lets def set something we could do in town.  if you haven't been to KCC (Kapiolani Community College) or UH yet we should def check those places out.  Or if you wanna go check out the piers by chinatown I'm down to go exploring over there.  I still wanna go check out Kalani Highschool.  Take your pick and let me know.  KCC and UH have pics in the hotspots board.

Maybe I tied it to "go big or go home" which that is definitelly a no no for me. But you are right, going hard doesnt necessarily mean going big, so I am there with you, I think I just had a moment of confusion.

Lots of spots in kaneohe my man, some very smal ones to squeeze, let me know any time you are down to come to this site of town. 858 337 2965

Go big is a good way to hurt yourself.
Go hard ...
Go home... Yeah, that's me... go hard, then go home. Grin

It was fun man, the rain really play part on applying clean technique. It was a good training variation to the norm. You gotta check out Kaneohe bro, lots of stuff around. If you are down to get more into some of the bases of PK let us know bro and we can run you thru some bases. With your background you should catch up quick, itd be a good thing to add to your set of skill.

This coming monday the 9th I've got some free time.  Could do similar thing we did...maybe meet up somewhere else?  go back to that one spot to drop off some fliers?  I'd really wanna go see more new places though... haven't seen much of kaneohe.

Yeah that works, lots to do around here. In my part, I will be focusing on upper body work. I would like to show you guys around but would also like to get us some conditioning done at several parts.

Ryan, I read somewhere that you want to start conditioning much harder, so I dont want to hear it when I am talking about a gauntlet or anything on monday  Grin just keep this in mind. Whatever you can not do, find a way your body can perform the closest thing to it.
