Question about parcube before I make one
« on: October 18, 2009, 02:18:16 PM »
Can you change the height?  Right now I'm just beginning, but I'll want it higher when I get better.  Would you add like leg type things, to make it higher?

How long would it take to build, and can I buy all the supplies for under $100?

Does anyone got a step by step process?  I'm looking at the one on this site, and it looks kinda of confusing and unorganized.

Anyone cool design I can put on the box?  :P

Is what I'm doing awesome? If I ask myself that and the answer is no, then I don't do it

parcubes are generally built so that the height changes based on their orientation.

you could probably build the whole thing in an hour or two, its just a box.

I havent been to a hardware store lately, but I'm sure you could buy all of the materials for less than $100

(sorry, dont have a step by step)

maybe paint it to look like a brick wall, and then tag it. I dunno. make it blend in where you want to put it, so instead of a random wooden box it looks like it should be there.
It's not about showing off. It's about movement and passion and freedom. It's about giving yourself the ability to reach farther and higher, to go anywhere you please. It's about living without boundaries.

I wouldn't suggest trying to build an adjustable one. a better idea would be to build it as in those directions, then screw a 2X4 to the front at the height you think is your max wallrun, then you can wallrun and hang by your fingertips, and as your wallruns get better you can raise the 2X4 with very little effort. As for painting - you can put anything you want on it - be creative :P
