Welcome to The Freerunner!

Hello! Welcome to the message boards for The Freerunner! Use this forum to discuss the latest issue, past issues, or anything else relating to The Freerunner that you want to talk about!

The Freerunner is the world's first parkour e-newsletter. It's been sent out every month since September 2008, and features original content, articles, interviews, and even a "chapter a month" story! The writers and reporters are PEOPLE LIKE YOU, regular members of the community, who wanted to step up and contribute.

Not content with the first online magazine, American Parkour is gearing up to launch the first ever parkour PRINT MAGAZINE. More information about that will be announced soon, but it'll will be mailed directly to you for you to read and then hang up on your refrigerator, or post up on your wall, or put on your bookcase!

The current editor-in-chief of The Freerunner is Janine Cundy from Seattle, Washington. The technical developer is Leon Mederos from Virginia, and the General Coordinator is Zachary Cohn from Rochester, New York.

You can read the complete back-issues on the website, TheFreerunner.net, and you can subscribe here. If you're interested in contributing, email janine@americanparkour.com with your ideas!

heck yea!  I'll get every issue just to have them.  They'll be like comic books only less nerdy

Can't wait!

Also, this section is for discussing the Freerunner right?  so does that mean anything from articles in other issues to suggestions for the next?

Yep, you can sign up for free on www.thefreerunner.net. We don't sell your email address or send you spam or anything else. Only The Freerunner!

The Freerunner was not a print magazine or even one you had to buy. It was a free online mag that was released once a month and included articles, pictures, stories, and other cool stuff submitted by the PKFR community.

Unfortunately it kind of fell apart in the middle of last year. But old issues can still be found at http://thefreerunner.net/
