Jason's Training log

Ok so here i am again. I finaly have free time and so I've decided it was time for me to start training seriously and work on get stronger and better at parkour the sport i love so much. So i decided to make this training log to keep score of my progress and to keep me motivated(so if you see mistakes or have suggestion's on what to add to my training routine or you start to see me getting to soft on myself let me know).

About me:
Height= 5'11"
Weight=140

Ok I'll start of with my goals:
Full APK warm-Up
Quad movement around the school(around half a block)

10/09/09

Did the APK Warm-up(first time)
15 Squats
4 Pull-Ups(all i could do)
10 Push-Ups
5 Samson streches each side(couldn't finish last set)
Repeated 3 times

3 circuits of the agility workout part

2 sets of 3 5 count burpees and :30 quarapedal

(This isnt a warm-up its a full workout for me)

Will add more when it comes (want to go for a run today but don't know if i can lol)

10/10/09

Today was less productive.
I jogged/walked to work
and walked back
Did about 5:00 min of ankle exercises
some stretching that's about it  :-[  :-\

Jog/walked(slid) to work
Walked on toes halfway home from work and alternated from walking on heels to rotating my ankle while i walked the rest of the way home
Stretched
practiced quad for alittle bit

Thats about it ive been catching a slight cold

I dont work tommarow so im going to work my ass off

Today was a total bust
I've been worried about my ferret all day had to bring her to the vet today and ive been taking care of her all day and to make things worse my cold isnt getting any better :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Walking on your toes on the way home..haha, sounds fun. I hope everything's OK with your ferret, and I hope you feel better too!

Thank you but unfortunatly she passed away from cancer. So the past few days have been weird.
10/13/09-10/16/09

light work-outs
no specifics because i cant remember them
I still grieve for her every now and then but im starting to get better because she will alway be in my heart so ive decided to get back into my training again and to become stronger and better for her

I know how you feel. We had to put two dogs and a cat down before, the first dog from Lymphoma. I'm sorry for your loss, Jason.

10/09/09

Ok so today was great!! ;D

The weather was perfect for training!!

Ok so I walked to and from work (oh have i mentioned that where I work there are no chairs you have to stand for hours at a time?)

I was tired already because it had been a long busy day lol but i couldnt pass up the weather.

APK Warm-up
3 circuits of:
15 squats
5 pull-ups(improved from 3!!)
10 push-ups
5 samson stretches on each side
1 circuit of:
High knees
double high knees
backwards highknees
side run
alt side run
but kicks
3 burpees
1:00 quad(improved from :30!!)

Took about a 5 min rest

Jogged down the street to the school
practiced rolls, kongs(getting better), other vaults, a few precisions
all about 45 minutes (left early cuz i was getting nauseous from lack of food and exhaustion, i was starting to mess up and hurt myself)
Walked home on tip toes (hurts the calfs like hell lol)

I was really excited because i was able to do a muscle-up (yes a jumping one but still)lol

so all in all it was a fun day!!
im going to do alittle more tonight after a little rest and dinner so will update tonight ;)

ok so i never got to doing much else other than some stretching lol

ok so ive trained lightly for the past few weeks because of weather
but today was nice so after i got off of work i went out to train
trained for 40 minutes had to leave because they dont like people there after dark
practiced different vaults,landings,precisions,cats,quad on railings, table kongs. i didnt want to leave lol
