Guy today was fun, the game where a blast. Very different training than usual. Enjoyed it and it is time to plan for the 25th.
Here is the thing though. I really would love to hold it at the same park. For a few reasons,

Those games can be done anywhere, park, another beach, anywhere really. I feel we fail on my main reason of wanting to take you there. We barely got any interaction with the actual place. I account that to the fact that there was that car in there, totally unexpected. Then the game took the rest of our interest.

I wanted to play a game, an idea that came after hearing Avi's suggestion.

On those roots.

Basically one person goes and tie a rag to any of the roots.
Next person has to go get it and then tie it on another root for the next person to then do the same.
That was we can really start getting used to work on those root.

There was also an idea to play, follow the leader thru this path David and JC found. Lots of opportunity for small flow.
I also wanted to do some move vaulting and precisioning on the trees.
Some laches and more upper body drills.

I really would love to just go there again. We can play capture the flag again for condtioning but after that I want to do some drilling with some techniques for everyone.

Then maybe do some fun water games.

Thoughts?

Sounds good, dunno if I can make the next one though.  Is there something closer to town with a similar environment?  Driving far is fine, just lots of people hard time getting to and from there.

I'm down for Kahana again. If it's too much trouble for Ryan to give me a ride I can just take the bus. No big. Hope the cars aren't there again haha

So where are we meeting this sunday guys?

I propose Kahana again for more natural training, and play with the trees some more, but it is up to you all.

Kahana sounds great. We definitely did not take full advantage of the space last time. Looking forward to it :)

Heyo
Thought I would post since I've been MIA at the jams for the past couple months. Broke my foot a couple weeks ago and just got off crutches so now I'm hobbling around. It's really quite pathetic, but hey, without crutches is the best. Upperbody strength has never been better :)

Soo I'm hoping the foot feels better by next month and I'll start coming to the jams more and getting off my lazy butt. See you peeps soon.

Kahana Bay sounds great, had to leave early last time so this time I can take full advantage of the place. Hope we get the same crowd we had last time.

There's always a next time Stacie... today was fun, we tried different games to kind of adapt with what we had. It was a rainy day so we were limited to a few things, but still managed to get a good workout and have fun. Hope to cya next time, dont stop training  ;)
