Just in case you haven't yet heard, every Tuesday night Zoic Nation puts on a short class and gym session at Lake Mary All Stars. It starts at 9:00pm with an intense warm-up courtesy of our very own Beastman. Once he's done intensifying everyone, the introductory class focuses on landings, rolls, and vaults (and includes wallruns, catgrabs, laches, etc,) with the content changing from week to week. After this short introductory class ends at 9:45pm, announcements are made and open gym begins. Though this time is free (and fun, you have no idea of the fun because there is SO MUCH FUN,) our teachers and talented members are more than happy to spend all night instructing and giving advice one-on-one or with small groups. We think this works better because most people learn more one-on-one, and it's AWESOME when people are learning.
Since everybody loves bullet-points:
-The environment is great! We just built a new piece of scaffolding-- it's giant! We call her Bertha. She is big, blue, and enjoys helping people do ridiculous laches and underbars!
-The people are amazing! We average at least thirty people coming out each night from diverse backgrounds including ridiculous martial artists, professional gymnasts, breakdancers, trickers, competition rock climbers, and the gym owner even plays with us sometimes too! We all train together and support each other, creating an environment where people of all levels are inspired to push their limits safely and constructively.
-The price is right! Our classes are conducted for free, the only cost being five dollar floor fees. If you can't afford that, check out ZoicNation.com for other outings that will cost you nothing but your dignity :]
