I am part of a group in Athens that holds open practices every Tuesday and Thursday. We've had people from Lawrenceville and Monroe come up to meet us, and we would be glad to have you.
We meet up at UGA (Tate Plaza; Where Baxter St. ends at the side of Sanford Dr) at 6pm and have been keeping this schedule for years. After 5pm there is free parking at the corner of Sanford Dr. and Cedar St. (underneath the trees on Sanford)
