im thinking it should be in north florida. tally or gainesville. tampa and orlando are great but its a long drive for people out of our communit and north florida events get a lot of our friends from georgia and auburn to come out.

We were planning on hosting a jam in Orlando around Nov-Dec, but if the Georgia guys are planning something around that time we can always move it.

I say we have one before the Overflux jam, say late September or early October. And I agree with the North Florida part; I place my vote in Tally. From what I've seen up there, they have some awesome spots.

That'll be up to Tom on if he wants to host one up there or not.  The only problem with Tally is not being able to train at FSU any more.

It'd be alot easier just to not worry about setting up a jam until after this overflux one.

If the jam is in tally we need to hit up the capitol. I was up there last weekend and there are some nice spots

It would be cool to have a jam in Tallahassee, but none of the "hotspots" here can really support a jam with numerous people except for Tom Brown park (a natural training area).  If we trained anywhere near the capital, we'd be kicked out in a matter of minutes.  There's a few other areas spread around town and downtown has some cool small spots, but they're all spread out and it would make a large jam quite difficult.  Its a shame we can't train at FSU.  :-\  Though a Tally jam isn't totally out of the question...

I think we should go with an Orlando jam.  They have plenty of hotspots and can support a large jam, but we should have it at least a couple months after the Athens jam.

When faced with the stress of a life-threatening engagement, we don't rise to the occasion, we descend to our level of training.

New Years works.  As for places to train there are a few options, but I really want to take everybody to this park in Winter Park with a really nice playground structure.  Tom and Chris have seen it, we agreed it would be a good place to host a jam at.  We could spend an afternoon there and cook out or something.

The UCF club is almost good to go, but we MAAAY still not be able to train on campus though, workin on it.  I can also talk to the owner of our gym and see if we could get a special night going on a Friday or Saturday just for the jam. (we usually do Tuesdays)
