Topic: what is the weirdest thing that ever happened to you while doing PK/FR

a couple of days ago i was training my kong and monkey vaults in the park. in the middle of my training someone stopped by and watched me training.

after a while around 15 people were watching me. but the wierd thing was, I didn't notice them. when i was finished training i made a lats monkey vault over a bench and rested for a while. 2 seconds later i heard an applause behind my back, i turned aroud and saw all those people. at that moment two boys walked to me an asked my autograph!

That is awesome!  We've gotten tourists who watched us for a while here in DC, but no autograph seekers!

The weirdest thing that's happened to me has always been the realization that I was capable of something I thought to be impossible.  In general, my estimate of how high I can jump is about a foot less than I can actually jump.

i think that they asked my autograph because in the city i live (Den Helder in the Netherlands) you almost cant do anything, it is always boring to be there (exept if you are a traceur)

I was training shirtless at a park one time and it was about 6 or 7 in the morning. I was practicing dash vaults over a picnic table, and an old man jogging was watching me for around 20 minutes with his German Shepard! I did not know rather to be freaked out or to be flattered, so I just kept training

i bed no one of you has seen what ive seen!!!!

I was training a few minutes because we have a really hot day today, it is 35 degrees Celcius. i made a tic-tac to monkey vault over a vence, behind that vence is a huge garden with great rocks and rails to practice. that garden is surrounded by around 50 houses so you can see the garden from the outside. in the outer ring of the garden are the backyards of the houses. but when i vaulted over the vence i landed in a garden. and now the fun is beginning. there were about 15 girls sunbathing in THAT gardan. (not topless, damn!) and i landed exactly next to a girl. when they saw me they were screaming and trying to push me out of the garden but i ran towards the center of the garden jumped over a vence continued running and then i got a slipper thrown agains my head.

lets hope its the same weather tomorrow

That exact thing occurs to me too. Its like a mix of fear and seemingly realistic thinking, and then as soon as you do it, its like a mental block has been broken and you realize you are capable of so much more.

How about running through the local colloge campus, until you can't move anymore, only to turn around a realize you had a small train of three students playing follow the leader, with you as the leader.

Makes me kinda glad I can take ten foot walls.

I've only had on weird thing happen to me in my one month of training so far.
I was at the beach with a group of friends and they asked me to show them a kong. So I konged a picnic table on the beach and the second my feet hit the ground a frisbee came and smacked me in the adam's apple lmao It was the frisbee of some random dudes playing ultimate a little ways away lol. It was a quite a shock

haha wierdest thing was @ the beach during the air show in Chicago. i was tricking, and there were like 100 people watching me and cheering for me. more people looking @ me other than the air planes. alot of the tricks i didnt land because i was adding twists and stuff! best part was ma front flip roll thinngy. ( its like a doublt front but 2nd rotation i just roll) so many people cheering. then people started tricking with me. fun stuff!

While looking for a spot to train at the park, I came across this weird arch of plants that looked like a door way, it lead into some intersection of 3 paths surrounded by trees and plants. As I walked down 1 of the paths it lead to a dead end, were a couple was making out, and cuddling  ...

Right after walking in on the scene, I thought they had noticed me and I said "oh-ops sorry!", then they finally noticed that I had stumbled upoun them. After they bothed stopped and turned their heads towards me, I just backed up quickly away from there, then shouted "Sorry!" yet again.

 I felt bad becuase I thought I had ruined some one's perfect momment or something like that... 


  Good thing I came sooner then later, becuase only god knows what might have happened after that...

We were training at Deer Lick and next thing we know, some guy and his kid and dog were sitting on the bench with their jams on the ground...  we kind of chuckled and continued then next thing we here is him on the cell phone going "OMG THERE ARE THESE KIDS UP HERE DOIN THAT PARKOUR THING THAT WE SAW!!!"

We were flattered but thought it was hilarious because of the randomness...

On my way home from class one day I speed vaulted a rail right next to a TALL wall on a handicap ramp. As I vaulted the rail, my friend Eric who was also going home, monkeyed the wall and soared clear over me as I was speed vaulting the rail. Didn't even stop. Traceurs are starting to have routes now. XD
