Part of body - description of injury, rating of severity 1-10: Left shoulder (back and front), heart, left lung; My parents and I believe that I may have pulled a muscle. This seems likely, but fairly extreme for a pulled muscle. Whenever I take in a breath, pain occurs. The deeper and longer I take that breath the more it hurts. At the beginning of a breath the level of pain is a 2. At the climax of breathing it gets to a 9. Immediately after the injury I went home and went to lay on the couch. The pain reached a point where it was so painful that I passed out. All in all, I would rate the severity an 8.5.
