I didn't know there was a different way to interpret "If he wants to work on size and looks, he should go to a BB forum.  Plain and simple.  I guess I just don't know what that actually means.  Could you enlighten me?

Sadly, if this continues I am deleting the flame posts and locking the thread.

Umm...perhaps we should get back to the original post?  ;D

Just wanna clear up that my post was in fact the opposite of bitching out those guys.  I personally know and would consider myself pretty good friends with Steve and Chris.  Charles and Tom I don't know but I respect their knowledge on the subject.  Anyway just wanted to clear that up because my post was one of praise and I know thats how Chris took it.

And I just want to say that when I reread the post I got semi-upset over, I realised I basically misinterpreted the whole thing.

And I am sorry if my initial post sounded overly harsh or otherwise.

Ah, I probably sounded worse anyways.

Well, we better get back on topic before we get in trouble.

I'm going to do 5 sets of 5 with weighted pull ups or would it be better do sets of 15 non-weighted?

Depends on the goal.  For strength you want to do weighted Pullups.

Though for endurance gains, I would stick to higher reps of non-weighted pull ups.
This post was based off of my personal gatherings. Enjoy:)

Depends on how much endurance you want.  I would still say to do weighted pretty much no matter what.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a time in Parkour where you need to ACTUALLY need more pulling endurance that you wouldn't just get from increasing your strength.

Does anyone have anything on proper form for PPPUs? I want to make sure I'm doing them right.

Include your back muscles.

OH Press, Pullups, P. Cleans, Deadlifts and Squats all work the back muscles in different ways.  We also typically don't push novices to focus on individual muscle groups because that is usually counterproductive at the novice level.

Did you read this thread or any other threads in this forum at all, yet?

His vids show a bit of an incorrect technique as he lets his core sag.

Your body position should look like a plank the whole time -- slightly hollowed from the shoulders to the toes.
