I've seen this argument on APK before, never turns out good...
And you could have found a better article lmao, that has no weight to it in terms of solid evidence proving your point..

Wow, I haven't been following this thread at all, but seriously guys... Blaming music for kids' behavior is as outlandish as blaming video games for kids' behavior.

The environment in which the child or adolescent grows up in is the only factor that influences his behavior (i.e. parenting, socioeconomic atmosphere/location, etc. etc.). The fact that these kids, who are already likely to act out negatively based on these feelings and emotions they have, listen to rap, metal, and screamo and play GTA doesn't mean we can blame their actions on the music and games. I spent my entire adolescence listening to heavy metal and playing Mature-rated games and I turned out fine, because I had good parents, and good friends. My closest friend listens to nothing but Eminem singing about raping and killing people, and he's a goddamn EMT on the President's List at his college.

Post hoc ergo propter hoc: "after this, therefore because of this". You can't blame one event as the cause for another event, simply because they follow one after another; it's a logical fallacy.

*Sigh*

If you feel it's required.

That's just one article, and there are countless more.

But I'd like to see your evidence supporting your claim. Prove to me that music, of any kind, does not, in anyway, affect ones behavior or emotions, since you're so adamant that you're right and we are wrong.

By source I meant that you cite a study that confirms your hypothesis. Don't just post the link of an article that provides no evidence to support its claims.

Yeah Matt and Nabil are primarily Hardcore. A lot of their songs incorporate Electronica elements. It seems a lot of screamo/hardcore bands these days do that. For example: Attack Attack! Of Mice and Men, My Sky Your City, etc.

Off topic: But I really hate it when touring ruins bands. Ever since ISMFOF started touring Matt has been smoking so much. My friend hung out with them at Warped tour and Matt was high the whole time.  :-\

What? They are actually the nicest guys youll ever meet. Nabil is the most relaxed person ever. He doesnt do any drugs at all. Matt is just sort of a party animal.

Well this discussion doesnt belong here. There is nothing wrong with their lyrics, most of the time they don't make much sense. I doubt you've actually read any of their songs.
