Hair
« on: December 17, 2009, 11:57:47 AM »
I just got a new haircut and it's driving me nuts - it's fine for when I'm at work, but when I train, I can't do anything to keep hair out of my face and eyes. I used to have long hair and no bangs, and could braid it all back. Then I cut it short but could still do pigtails. Now I can pull only part of it back and out of my face, but I have all these free strands that get in the way. I've tried the elastic headband thingies, but they fall off and I have to redo my hair every five minutes. HELP! Other than a buzz-cut, do you ladies have any suggestions so I can see?

im not a girl but i have bangs passed my chin, and if you wear a beanie it should hold your hair in place enough

I usually wear a bandana or a beanie. It keeps my hair outta my face. I need to get a haircut....I liked it when my hair was super short now its all grown out.

Like Shawn, sorry for posting in the women's board, but this is something I was actually thinking about the other day.

Combination hair band and comb. The only reason I thought of them is that Oleg and Danny Ilabaca have long hair and seem to wear them a lot. Seems to work pretty well for them.

I use those hairbands that are like really long hairties. They work pretty well for me.

I have short/medium length hair and it gets annoying sometimes too. Beanie and bandana seem like a good idea. But personally, I would say just adapt to your new haircut... maybe style it differently? For me, since I have layers its impossible to tie my hair all up, so I try to style my hair/bangs to stay away from my face. Just a tip though, hope you find a solution!  :)
Training is not about instant gratification. Anyone looking for constant progress will not stick with training for long. The essence of training is the experience of the training, and what you learn about yourself through it.

Went for the bandana last night - Looked funny, but I could see, so I'll chalk it up as a success! I think I also need to go get it cut shorter. I'm bad at insisting to hairdressers that I need it shorter, no really, shorter. Thanks for the tips, everyone.

But grab an APK bennie, it works for me  :)

( i don't have real bangs, but my hair is very layered. so i have thick strands that like to hang over my face. so yeah, there bangs but not the straight accross bangs.)

This is a bit off topic but A-SkyfiOriginal I love that pic. Darth Traceuse. Very clever. :)
