Phoenix traceurs!
« on: July 24, 2009, 02:43:29 PM »
I'm not expecting a big response, since nobody ever visits these local boards (lol), but:

I've noticed a distinct lack of traceurs in Phoenix; everyone in AZ seems to be concentrated in Tucson, or Scottsdale. I've found a couple of people in the area, but it'd be nice to have some more to train with.

If you're in Phoenix, POST! I know you guys (and girls?) are out there.

I'm on 24th ave & Greenway, btw. I can drive anywhere in the city to train. There's a bunch of contact info on my profile page, so if you are interested in training let me know!

Happy training guys, don't forget your water  ;D

There is no reason to have a plan B, cause all it does is distract from plan A

Well, it's been a while since I posted that, and I've managed to get more Phoenix traceurs together since then. We're always looking for more people though!

Do you have transpo and/or gas money for me? Cause we jam every Saturday in Phoenix on 16th st. & Bell rd. Tatum and the 101 isn't THAT far, if you're interested.

Hey. Id like to meet up with some folks, but I'm downtown, and mostly get around by bike. So if you guys ever decide to come down around Central/Roosevelt, itd be good to have someone to train with.

You guys should check out Desert Tumbling on Mondays and Thursdays. There's a team called DAFT that practices there and they are pretty good.

I'm not far off from Metrocenter. I've never done it before but I'd be interested in trying! I'd have to work out again though before I'd feel comfortable starting the practice. I've noticed that there aren't that many good public spots where parkour would be feasible (in terms of architecture).

I play in a couple of places in the metroplex not specifically in Phoenix.  Though I'm open to locations you know about.  I like Desert Breeze Park in Chandler, and the Riparian Preseve way over in Gilbert.
Will play Extreme Games of Tag for Phoenix Parkour
