Urbana Champaign ^_^

Hello, I'm from the Chambana area and I am currently in a crew of 3. We are still rather new to parkour and where wondering if there are other traceurs in the area. We could help each other develop parkour vision and watch each others backs to make sure we are all safe =D. Anyway, I just thought I would throw that out there. ... And for me particularly, I am wondering if there are any girls in the area practicing parkour. I would love to practice with other girls. Don't get me wrong, the boys are great, I just think it would be nice to meet other girls ^^.

Hey, Zullala, I'd recommend that you go check out this thread over a Aero Parkour: http://chicagoparkour.net/forum/index.php?topic=1909.0

Some of us are planning on going down to Champaign to catch the Matt and Kim/Yea Big and Kid Static concert on September 13th at Parkland College.  Details haven't been set in stone yet, but there's a really good chance that we're going to be there.  We were planning on training before the concert.  It would be awesome to meet up with your crew.

Chambana? how far is that away from the stl area ? i train with a 2 girls mabye we call can meet up sometime and train ?

"Chambana" = Champaign-Urbana. ;)

I graduated from the U of I, but my little sister still goes to school down there, so I'm there from time to time. :) I'll try to send you a heads-up if I'm planning on being down there long enough to jam!

@Ryan Thill: Oh cool, thanks for the link. I think it would be cool to meet up with you guys too. Thanks for the link. Yeah, I think one of my friends was talking about that concert as well.

@XindestructibleX: Stl area? I don't know what that is xD.

I think it would be cool to get together. My crew and I will be getting back together this Sunday I believe. I have to get more info, but I'll keep you posted.

I am in the Decatur area and am just starting out in Parkour today but I have dabbled in doing some things here and there... I am leaving to go back up by Chicago soon but will be back down here in January. Got family out at U of I so I will be around! I am a guy too sorry Zullala lol

An RSO for Parkour has been approved at U of I. They will start holding meets next semester.

I'm about to try parkour myself since I have a friend already experienced in it on campus.
