I was a little nervous when we were told we couldn't move around the city and had to stick with the stones. But now that it's after the fact I see how well we exhibited pk for what it is. We found so many different paths through such a simple and abstract setting. We flew, we rolled, we slid! On sunday we showed the city of Madison true, pure Parkour.
The whole thing went just great! Thanks to chicago crew for helping us look good and thanks to mynkx for bringing his puppy Achilles (kitty)! Great idea considering we were by all the kids activities for the event!
First a shout out to Grip, man you tore it up! I've got some fantastic shots of you defying gravity!
Second, Counsel! I'm the guy who took the pictures you want. I won't be able to get them to you till tomorrow as the camera actually belonged to my mother. She's going to give me a cd with all the pics tomorrow. I'll pass the requested photos on to you and later I can send any other pics you'll need. Same to Muse, I'll give you a copy of the cd so you can pick the shots you like. Oh and we are DEFINITELY trying for pic of the week with those synched vaults. Might I add that two people with practically no history were able to effectively trust each other with such precise and powerful movements. Where else but pk?
As a interesting side note, earlier today I took a few of my friends over to the stones. They wanted to check out the spot after me and Cody spent the whole day talking about the jam. We warmed up, got to jumping and within minutes we had a crowd almost as big as at the jam itself! Word's getting around, people know what we're up to.
So finishing off my... Rant lol. Great job everybody! Sunday was proof that no matter what the obstacle, we will overcome! We are Parkour!
edit: just got this in the email, it's a thumbnail, full size is HUGE
