Meh. Miami Freerunning is lulz. Why doesn't APK give Tampa and Orlando a highlight for keeping the Florida board alive and the Florida scene alive and running? Oh well, I guess Miami has more SUPAR FLIPZ than us, so I understand.

Thats kind of rough. And I hate to rag on anyone else's scene... but theres truth in the statement. Tampa/Tally/Orlando is the heart of most florida parkour. So to me, the focus on miami feels kind of like Urban Freeflow picking Tempest as the american team.

To be fair, Miami is the only group so far to make a fancy website, so they look all professional. Once we get the Florida Parkour site off the ground, we can all be affili-friends.
And the SUPAR FLIPZ too. Those are important.

Isn't that ridiculous though? I mean... the most professional and important people in the development and ORIGINATION of our discipline don't have websites. Find me david belle's professional fancy website. Or the yamakazi or stephan vigroux before parkour generations. I understand its a medium for spreading like anything else, but I don't consider any one groups contribution to the discipline or community by the quality of their website. If they were out talking to people about the true spirit of sport and bringing in those who want to better themselves and shatter their boundaries, and then turn around and give a hand up to the next person behind them, thats one thing. But sport for the sake of fame, business, or pride isn't sport its masturbation.

My only point there was that you have to have a website to be "affiliated," and Miami is the only group with a website in florida (so far). I agree though, a parkour site's only job is to promote the community that uses it. If that community is contributing to those around them then it's serving a worthwhile purpose. If not then, well...as you said...fapfapfap.
I don't want to flame anybody though, and I honestly don't know enough about what the Miami guys do to pass any kind of judgement. All I really have to base my opinion on is the fact that they don't interact with the rest of Florida. Whatever. I'm tired. Goin to bed now.
