Its my first vid. 1st lotta things came with this vid. 1st time shooting and editing too.  Its not the best or anything, still choppy here and there, its just a look at my style in my infant stages of Parkour.
  Filmed this over a couple hours yesterday, couldnt wait to edit, so did the long night and learned what I could.  So much props to all you video editors out there.  I never knew how tedious it could be...
  Been with HIPK for around a year, actual time in training Parkour would be less than half a year?  Still lotta work to be done for this scoliosis traceur...  Thanks to all who helped me, directly and indirectly. DB, HIPK founders, Gregg, PK community... Hope u like. Aloha

My first video we made back in January... I wish we took more time on the filming but we had the camera for a week and about an hour a day to film so... Once I get the camera from Ozzi we're going to make another taking our time and hopefully showcasing our new skills =D

I can tell you've been practicing. You caught me by surprise a couple times.
It was fun seeing places we jumped together ages ago. A couple look really good on vid.

Nice one Ozzi. I'm sure it will help peeps... I'm stuck on precisions from different heights, high to low just frankly scares me. And I just don't have the low to high down :/...

Low to high is all power start small, progress from there. Box jumping helps.

wow thats an interesting way of konging, but if it works it works lol
the only thing is I dont see the funtionality of that move, since you could simply tic-tac off the wall or kong over the box.

Fence is not sturdy

instead of on a wall on a pole

I just fail to see how much power you can get from it. I just gotta try it myself.

May be functional... like over a barb wire or electric fence. Somewhere there's enough junk overhead that you can't straighten out for a full tic-tac.

yeah, it's def not a power move...more of a diff way of moving.  Thanks for not saying it was stupid and useless though    I like this move

Cool! Thanks for posting! I watched it a couple times. Some nice moves - I liked the double tap speed vault to dash - I don't remember noticing that before.
I felt like I was watching the Visitor Channel at the beginning - nice shots, bit long, but really beautiful.
Nice to have a real cameraman, who can track you as you flow. That helps so much.
Bails are always fun to watch - I wonder why that is?
I totally didn't get the end thing.

Haha I study other people's videos and see what I like, so my filming style is a mishmash. The parts where I was followed I mapped out my route and then had to first teach them how to use the camera and then memorize the path that they needed to follow. It was a really interesting learning experience for them and me (3 people did it at different times). They did really well, and it was great to have the experience of having them express my creative impulses, even if some of them did get frustrated at times ('Why can't I stand in THAT corner??" "What's taking you sooo long to get this move?"). That's why I thanked them at the end, because I know it's difficult for someone to tell you what to do, and not get credit for it. So I gave credit where it was due.

The beginning was a bit long, but I liked the way they ended at the end of each phrase (and if you noticed, the second beach shot coincided with Obama saying "a couple of hawaiian kids on the beach"), and I decided to commit to that style so that it was consistent, even if it was a little long.

Haha the ending was from MTV, and it's an inside joke with some people that I know, but it's still a funny clip, even if a little out-of-place to the outside viewer.
