gonna try go on my last recon mission of the summer this wednesday the 5th....kaimuki area this time, to catalog all the places I train @ regularly. I'll probably start 1pm, anyone is welcome to join me.

Hey Matt I was at the Kokokahi gym on thursday with my circus friend. I saw Avi and met a guy with a fro who was pretty good at trickin' but I'm really bad with names... thats wasn't you was it bro? LOL
Anyway, everyone is missing out... the gym is an awesome experience and helps you loose all those fears that prevent you from developing your skills. I know its far for many of us, but yall should still try to make it to at least one session a week or a month.

hey what day's (and at what time) does Kokokahi gym have a open mat? Maybe a stupid question, but are they parkour friendly... for example if I wanted to practice kong to precision could they accommodate me or...? last question, how much does it cost for one hour long session?

the open gyms are on tuesdays and thurdays from 8-930ish. its ten bucks for the first session of the week, but if you come again in the same week then its only 5. and yes they are very parkour friendly. the owner gabe, pretty much lets you have free reign as long as you don't get in the way of the other gymnasts and clean up when finished. there are plenty of mats for you to basically build your own obstacle course of vaults and flips and whatever else you want. just come check it out. you'll love it no doubt.

sorry i couldn't make it ryan. i had to pick up my brother from his football practice and it ran really late. I'm going to Pali Lookout on this Wednesday August, 19th... 4pm ish till whenever I get tired

I'll be there with friends just to play in the wind, maybe go hiking... definitely do some pk. Light training so I won't be there for much longer then 2 hours. It's my favorite place to train wall runs, cause the walls are really grippy there, plus the wind acts as a super booster that really makes you want to go bigger and higher. Big plus is that no one bothers you, last time I was there I had people really curious about what we were doing.
