You can tell it's late when 50% of the people on the boards are HIpk.
Goodnight Ryan, Derek, Streek, etc. See you guys later.

No I did not, they just always ask for her.

Guys, so much to bring with me, nothing we have not done, just more of it, more family spirit. Jams are about to be different. If you think Im to harsh on conditioning, try doing what I have you guys doing for 5hrs straight. I did well and Im happy with my conditoning. I was definitelly pushed, still not knowing my limits but glad for what we all did.

So how are jams going to be different, well, we all need to work together, no more standing or sitting around. If you come to train you come to train. It is going ot be fun, challenging, tiring and and for the most part, rewarding. Very excited to come and share it all with you guys.

Ill post the days for the seminar soon. Stay tune.

Sounds fun,  But remember Siting around and doing nothing  or doing activities half-cooked seems to be the local agenda.  Unless you plan on turning people away I think its going to be hard to get people of their asses

In reality it is basically going back to how our jams used to be long ago, more movement, more activities, more team effort. At this event there were all levels and they all participated regardless. It is all about trying, not cuz you cant do the move/exercises being shown doesnt mean you can still join and try your best.

I just got a bit demotivated at how some people really did not try to push themself and how unapreciative of my time and effort some people were... can anyone remember Jhonnys complains about conditioning?

Parkour is not for everyone, if you dont want to participate on the propers ways of training and just jump around, then parkour is simple not for you. With HIpk we will train the way it should be, for we are here to help make strong traceurs who are serious about the discipline.

Of course the occasional "im just exhausted and need to sit to recover" is fine... but like the yamakasi says, "We start together, we finish together" As one, as one soul, one core, one group.

Im not saying this is going to turn into a bootcamp, we will all still play, but if we want to really take advantage of what the environment has to offer, then we will all have to think and play together.

Cant wait to share the knowledge I gained with you guys.

They dont do anything that we dont, they are just more consistent about it.

Oh, that also means that I hope some of the other communities around hawaii would join us at least one in a while.

I second that. I mean, i take the time to organize jams out here and the only things that i ask for are 1. To show up and 2. Warm up as a group. After that you can do whatever you want. Most times though, people just show up bump fists and then go off and do there own things. Why even bother showing up to a jam, if were not gonna jam...

I remember johnny alright. I sure as hell remember how the jams used to be long ago...long long ago. They were pretty intensive and got everyone involved even if they thought they could do it or not. Hell i remember i thought i was gonna die from Ozzis conditioning my first jam but i kept going none the less. Now its granted me bragging rights! No jk.

I lack the assertiveness to get people to condition/warm up for jams. But i figure, if they really wanna do it they will without me telling them or asking them to join in.

If anyone from aiea wants to go to a jam they will. Most All of them rely on rides to get to spots etc. This means if they dont have any sort of ride they wont go. Im pretty sure im the only one that often utilizs the bus to get to and from main spots etc. Personally i would make it to jams a lot more often, im more than capable of getting to any place on this island with out having to rely on anyone. But, alas, im one of the few people who are immensley busy on sundays. Hence the reason i hold my own jams throughout the week.

But it is summer. So maybe youl see me these next few months other than at Hawaii Acad.

What's up HI Traceurs? I've been practicing for a while now and train PK, gymnastics, martial arts, CF and anything else I can get my hands on. My wife, daughter and I do frequent hikes and workout sessions. My garage is a full gym for PK and CF. I'd love to start networking with some of the people in HI for jams and training sessions or even to just get together and work out. Ozzi, are you back from the mainland yet? Your hotspot map is pretty cool and I could help you expand it if you want. pictures, reviews etc. I've been training for a while but haven't really been a part of the community and I'm fairly new to the whole board networking thing. I'm getting some videos and pictures together and getting some of my buddies into PK as well.

This is getting long winded so, I'll cut it off. If anyone wants to train, check out the gym or anything like that, drop me a line.

Sup Man!!!  Glad to have you here
I just added you on facebook...my name's Ryan Furuya.  Yeah the Board is a bit overwhelming/ confusing at first, but check it weekly and you'll figure it out.  I like see your home gym, I'd like to have some new ideas for work out equipment.  And, yeah our hot spot map is kind of out dated.  Hope to see you around, please post here if you go out to train, I'm always looking for new people to train with.
