It softens. Even when you were goofing off together at that sculpture. "You are my mom, Mrs. That is a No No."

Part of it's due to shaving. Some is you aren't making faces at the camera... but it's more than that

Favorite place? Wow, that is a hard question, there are several places that pffer so many different things. The hike was fun, red rocks too. But then again that kong to cat spot was spic. Itd be unfair to pick one spot.

If I had a chance to go once to one of those places though I think I would try to explore campus a bit more.

psychology... just curious how old did u think I was? I teach psych 100 (internship not paid)... some of the kids I teach really have a hard time accepting that I'm not even old enough to drink yet.

Ryan: Abnormal Psych was one of my favorite classes. I didn't do great, but I enjoyed it. Too bad your internship is unpaid. My friends used to get decent pay to assist in the computer center. I didn't know you were in college, so I thought you were 17-19 or so. Are you planning to go into clinical, academics, or something else after grad?

Alex: I've heard UH is great for Marine Bio. If nothing else, there's some really nice snorkeling here.

[My friends say the scuba is great, too]. The photo part of photo journalism is a matter of going out, getting the best pictures for the story. You can work on that now.

Ozzi: Yeah, a bit unfair to make you choose. I have an aunt in Boulder, so her ranch is probably one of my favorites.

Yeah UH is amazing for Marine Bio and same with HPU. I am a huge diver I plan on teaching diving during the summer while im there after school terms

I have Padi AOW Cert soon to be Padi Rescue Diver. I am trying to get all my dives done before I go in 2 years so that way I can take my course and work at a dive shop

Yeah - depends too on the shop where you work. My friend got into a smaller shop. I think she spent every cent she made on gear, and getting her dives. I hope that having your cert will make it easy for you to get the job when you get here.

Snorkeling almost kept me from learning to surf. Some of the Maui surf spots are snorkel spots on calm days. I saw how nasty the reef was, and how shallow the water was over the top at some of the spots. Body-surfing "Dumps" in snorkel gear I was like only in a foot or two of water much of the time. Scary! [I have NEVER surfed Dumps. NEVER!]

When you're up on top you don't always realize it, until you try to turn your board around, and your fins scrape. Or you dive under a wave, and hit reef two feet down. That was a very bad feeling.

Congrats on 2 years, Ozzi. Looked like a fun trip off the island. That under-bar was freaky looking. Hike and rock climb looked like it would have been my favorite part.

I wouldn't have been able to keep up with you guys in the PKFR stuff. Before lunch I was all "That does it. I'm quitting PK." Now that I've got some food in my gut, I'm feeling better...
