Hey girl, good to have you back. Sorry we dont have a stable community in Hilo yet, but hey, with you there that can change. Get soem of your friends to train with you, show them some of our tutorials and what not. Anything we can help with just let us know.

the friends i have dont want to train they just wanna watch :s i would post flyers around campus to get people to meet somewhere at the same time but im real shy haha :S anyway will keep you posted on whats going on in hilo

You can also look for people who cross-train - gymnasts, runners, rock climbers, hikers...
There's got to be someone around somewhere

ok well i put up flyers around campus today for a general parkour meet up tomorrow at 4:30 on campus.. see who, if anyone, shows up!

I'll be at the Big Island during the summer. I don't know how much training I can do there or how often I'll be able to go off on my own since I'm going with my parents but I'm sure I can get them to let me loose for at least one day while I'm there.

Whatever you do, keep it consistent,. Even if no one show up, just do you thing, train. Eventually theyll see you are serious about it and they start to show up. Specially if you frequent the same place weekly some might see you and wonder what you do every week.

i met some one who is interested

) i was out last night and he just came by and watched so im going to put up signs on the bulletin board monday for a training on saturday i know at least one other person will be there

and gives people a bit more time to organise than just one day!

just for update: had 2 boys that tried it out and i think they enjoyed haha had another 6 or so people that came to watch and some that said next time theyll bring shoes and stuff so they can do parkour so yay but they all beginners i thought might get at least one person that has been doing pk/fr before.. anyway thas ok it was fun

i told them to come on here haha so maybeee

Hey I work at the UH Hilo student newspaper. I saw some fliers around campus, but was too late for the event.
Yeah, keep us updated on meetings, and if you guys are growing.
The sports writer for the paper might be interested in doing an article, and that might bring some recruits.
