Pentax K-50 underexposed
« on: September 17, 2019, 05:37:02 AM »
Hi all,

I've had my Pentax K-50 DSLR for about 5 years now, and it has been a great intro DSLR for me to learn on and use on vacations and such. However, I have been taking many pictures the last few days, and when I tried to take photos yesterday evening, I noticed that every photo was coming out very underexposed currency converter. There was plenty of light to shoot in, this was at about 6:00 pm yesterday. I normally shoot in manual mode, so I tried switching it to Program and Auto, and despite the camera picking the settings, the images were near black. Has this ever happened to anyone? I have tried removing the battery overnight as well as resetting all the defaults, but nothing changes.

Any and all help/suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you.
