What do the FoCo guys think about forming either a google site or a google group just for Fort Collins parkour?

If we can get some good pictures/videos and whatnot, might be a pretty cool idea.

Yeah, with Google groups we can have videos and pictures all in one place as well as a forum for just Fort Collins.  I'd be willing to make one...

Trovius,

Looks good but I have 2 Questions, though not to shoot down your enthusiasm:

1. Who are you? I don't think I've seen you @ a Jam so why do you care about Fort Collins & Parkour?

2. Why create another Site outside of APk? I don't need a second place to look for info on Parkour. APk makes it very easy for anyone to get involved in Parkour in Fort Collins. Keeps our practices open to anyone in Colorado or really anyone at all. We can also know what other things are going on with Parkour in the rest of Colorado & America.
It seems that most all of your posts if not all of your post relate only to this google site. Have you not had a chance to look around at APk & see how it works? Just trying to understand.

On a possitive note, I do like the idea of having a place for Pics & Vids from FoCo  :) Just not sure if there are enough Traceurs in the Fort Collins to warrent another full site. Again, this is meant for understanding, it's not meant to cut you down  ;)

My name is Kaden. I'm pretty new to parkour, and I live in Fort Collins but haven't been able to go to a jam yet.  I'll try to go to CSU tommorow at 1:00.  I'm in high school so it'll be easier for me to train now that it's summer.  Thanks for being cautious, but I'm not trying to scam you.

There are a couple reasons why having a Google Group would be a good idea:
1. Pictures and Videos of Fort Collins can be uploaded by all members and stored in one place.
2. Members of the group can receive emails from the group email address.  So if a member is coordinating jam or  a practice time changes, the member can send one email to the group email address (fortcollinsparkour@googlegroups.com) and it will reach all of the Fort Collins traceurs.
3. This group would supplement APK, not replace it.  I think that having Fort Collins pictures, videos, and discussions together would build the Fort Collins parkour community.  Pictures and videos would especially help people realize there are other traceurs in Fort Collins.  I know several traceurs that don't know there are others in FoCo.  APK can sometimes be cluttered, and information can be buried, whereas everything at the group would be for Fort Collins.

If the Google Group won't be useful, we can forget about it, but we should at least store our pics and vids together somewhere.
