Nothing pisses me off more when people use LOL. Are you really laughing out loud, or is it just mildly funny?
Don't use it to start a sentence.
Don't use it to end a sentence.
Don't put it in the middle of sentences.
DON'T USE IT.
If you use it because you don't know what else to say, then don't type anything.
If you use it because it's an awkward conversation, then you can say, it's awkward
.
You will probably save time on typing too.
Personally, I use 'haha' to express hilarity. I do this because that is how people laugh. The funnier it is, the more 'ha's I use. Try it.
