Thanks Josh ^_^

Haha, yeah, I couldn't resist tagging him =D

So a couple people were asking for before and after pictures. This is after one month. Not the best comparison. Especially since I was goofing around in the first one. I'll have more pictures as time goes by. Left is before, right is after.

Ha, your silly with the boxer-esque jumping at first :D

Good workout. Try doing heavy squats with barbells though, those have really taken my parkour to the next level. You'll gain weight from doing them though(albeit muscle), which shouldn't be a problem... but I must ask.. is bodyweight more important to you whether it be for bragging rights or personal goals, or body composition?

A lot of the female traceurs i've met are always concerned about measuring progress in lbs or kilos rather than bodyfat %, whats your take?

Oh geeze...I totally didn't respond to you Cody. Sorry about that. Personally I think body weight is a joke. I weigh a lot more that most girls I know and a lot of guys due to the muscle I've packed on. Everything is about weightloss when in fact...it should be more about strength increase and physique. My wii fit bases it on weight loss (yes...my rents got a wii for Christmas) However, I base my changes on increase in abilities (lower pushups, more pushups, etc) , measurements, and body fat %. I almost enjoy weighing a lot more than most because nobody expects it  ;D I have been throwing in weighted squats to some of my workouts =) I'll be sure to amp it up though. Thanks so much and sorry it took so long to respond...

Never thought of using a backpack as a kettlebell...hmm

Great video!

EDIT: oh yea, I noticed that when you do your dips on the chair your butt is REALLY far from the chair, you need to move it in closer towards the chair to avoid shoulder injury, you can also go deeper if you do this.

I love your entry - I always use my backpack for grip strength exercises on a bus or train - try lifting it (finger curls) with your whole hand, then each set of 2 fingers, then each finger individually, I can always get it for like 10 reps with all but just my pinky so I use the next finger to assist.

Great idea and nice vid!!

Oh, no no no! Lydia, fix your squats! Everything else is fine or good enough to not worry about (with the exception of the dips which has already been put out there), but your squats... Stay on your heels, back straight, core tight, head looking forward, driving with your hips.

Grayson - Thanks =) It was a random inspiration. Can't remember exactly how I thought of it...but I did. Lol. Thanks for the tip btw! I did notce that and was wondering if I had bad form on those. I'll be sure to fix that  ;D

M2 - Thank you so much! I never thought about the grip strength training! I really should work that into my general walking around at school!

Shyamsundar - Well, to be fair...I didn't think of it until I made the video and I've been using a backpack for years  :) Just think though, now you can use it  ;D

Spencer - Oh! That's not at all how I do squats. Those are frog squats or something. It was specific to getting used to picking something up off the ground with the backpack on. Seemed to be the best way to counterbalance the backpack. I appreciate the concern! But do not fear for those are not the normal squats =) And I'll be certain to fix the dips as well. Thanks buddy!

oh! i get this workout ! lol i do some of the same stuff but only w/ a weight vest :P
if you plan on doing the backpack workouts a lot i would advise getting one! they are a bit expensive so be careful, but they dont move as much and are a lot more predictable than a full backpack

thats all the help i got to offer :D
