Yes, Halstead and Harrison is definitely walking distance from Union Station: walking directions are here. We'll probably be at the southwest corner of the intersection.

You probably don't want a Metra weekend pass unless you're planning on traveling out into the suburbs. If you're just planning on moving around the city for the jam, what you want is a CTA pass (Metra services suburbs, CTA services downtown). You can get a CTA one-day pass for $5.75, or a three-day pass for $14. Information about them is here.

Ford Explorer with room for 5+ gear...also serves as a nice room for two if need be with the inflatable twin size snug in back. I can crash there if I have a place to park at least.

Muse, if it ends up being Travis, Joey, Zack, myself and you we could all just plan on the explorer and arrange lodgings accordingly.

Alright so this is a week away here and I still haven't gotten any information on what the options are for places to stay.  I've e-mailed the guy we were supposed to talk to and got no real answer back.  If I'm going to be planning a whole weekend trip here and asking off for work for it I really need to know what's going on.  Are people offering houses for us to crash at?  Do we have to find hotels?  Any info would be awesome, thanks.

Dun worry you will all have places to stay!  We are just gathering all the names and then gonna divide them out to people who can house in a few days.  So we are just waiting until most people have rsvp'ed.
