Sorry if this is somewhat raising a post from the dead but I think it need to be said...

mainly since I've basically just figured on trying the Dash about 2 weeks ago and have loved it ever since...

The reason it is called the Dash is because, if done properly, it will Dash you out of it... since the push from your hands comes at the END of the vault instead of the BEGINNING, all of your force is used to go forwards instead of get past the obstacle...

I've found it to be a GREAT vault to use if the next obstacle is REALLY close but needs a LOT of speed... thus I started to push boxes closer and closer until I started doing a Dash to Dive Kash combo... works great and look epic!

two things

you gotta work on your one two step landing [i just taught my six year old bro to do it 2 hours ago]

and on the second you did a diving kong, the kash is a kong+dash and your feet lead out the same way as in a dash [but u can kong it perfect]

____________________________________________________________________________________

if you do work on the one two landing [since your at a level where serious absorption doesn't seem to be an issue]
-when you go for the kong combo [if you time it right] it can be used as a one two takeoff to throw you more forward than up- facilitating the traversal of the body over the obstacle [by keeping the distance low and in a straighter line, as opposed to a curve up and over] taking impact from your body and adding fluidity.
why would a community of people focused on efficient movement[s ] want to move their community INEFFICIENTLY?

lol yea I never really can differentiate between kash and kong... I just thought that Kash was your hands are off of the obstacle before your feet go through and kong is a full body swing through your arms

oh and about that double foot landing... I was trying to kill momentum since the wall was RIGHT past those curtains

Edit: I just watched the video again... it was a kong wasn't it lol! woops oh well they are both good...

I'm proposing a boycott on this type of thread for the well-being of the posterity and/or all ridiculously cute, little, furry animals in the family sciuridae.

Think of the children/squirrels.

Dedication is the basis of success in all things. The achievement of one's goals will ensue naturally if one is dedicated.

lmao- two foot landing> no brakes> wall> broken

u got uber distance tho regardless

kash = after you touch [kong/monkey/catpass], your legs go in front of you and you push off again [into a dash]
..not that it matters, just move ;)
