Men's To Woman's Running Shoe
« on: March 25, 2009, 11:04:42 AM »
I posted a while a go that I got new shoe. Should I train in them and what not.
Now after I had thoughs for about a week they started to fall apart. I took them to the
new blance where I got them and got a free pair. The manager did not tell me that the shoes where woman's running shoes. Witch are more confurtable for me and the fit me nicely, along with fitting better then the men's running shoes. But why is this, does anybody know why? ???

Goals for Training:
-Land a Frontflip Outside again √
-Kong a table over seats √
-Kong a Picnic Table Longways
-Make a decent sampler/video
-Find new places to train
-Land a Sideflip Outside √

You have womanly feet.  :D
Nah, it's just the way the shoe's made.  Or the fact that they're brand new.  Either way, don't worry about it.  As long as they don't look feminine, I don't think anyone'll care or notice.

It's because... they do. Nothing to worry about really, one of my soccer coaches only wore women's shoes because they worked better for him. You could never tell on the shoes he got unless you actually looked.

I saw some lady wearing those the other day!  Don't worry though dude, they don't look that girly.  I probably wouldn't have noticed if you didn't say anything.

If they're a Women's wide, they're (in theory) the same thing as a normal width Men's.  If they're a B-width (normal for girl shoes), you just found a shoe that runs wide or you have narrow feet.
Generally, a girl's shoe will still have a narrower heel, slightly wider forefoot and occasionally a tad more curve to the last than a guy's shoe.  I actually know several of guys (marathoners and ultra-runners) that wear girl's shoes (in non-girly colors!) because they fit better.  If the shoe fits and feels good, wear it!

It doesn't really matter, just wear whatever you think is comfortable. People'll be too busy looking at your Parkour moves than looking at your shoes.

If it makes you feel any better (and most likely wont... >.>) I only wear guys shoes for running (skateing, BMX,) Because they fit my foot better. I dont like the way girls running shoes hug my feet in general. I feel like it makes me twist my foot while i walk.

SO if they feel good, wear them. If they are comfortable, wear them. if they dont look girly with pink gliter on them, wear them. If they feel good and look good, dont worry bout it.

What's more important is that you are comfortable when you do your super parkour moves. No matter what you wear as long as you're feeling comfortable in it. I'm new in this forum by the way and I'm practicing parkour also. Good day everyone.

I shop in the men's side for my sneekers. Just go with what fits you best, so long as it isn't pink or sparkly it shouldn't matter
My parkour teacher wears woman's ankle socks just because he loves the way they fit

You're a WOMAN! Lol, I got some sweats from Target a few weeks ago from the Men's section. It took me a while to actually look at the sticker from them (which I had happened to save) and it said in big black font: "Ladies'". Ironically, the groin area has already ripped a bit. Still, I don't care if they're women's or not as long as it doesn't look like it.

Parkour is a great way of exercise for me. Its one form of maintaining your body in an alternative way. I'm new in doing parkour or barely a beginner in this and hoping to master it day by day.

Actually, if you restricted yourself to mens shoes only maybe you wouldn't have found shoes that were as comfortable as the ones the manager showed you. If the shoes are comfortable for you its all good. The name, label - all that is not important in my opinion. The way I see it, shoes are just shoes. A Colour is just a colour. They can be good, bad, or neither for you. If they're bad, look for another pair of shoes. If they are good for you, use them. If they are neither good or bad, looks for a better pair of shoes. Its a concept that works. :P

That was random  :-Sarcasm

I wish my feet were small enough to fit into women's shoes.  Some of their shoes look awesome, but wearing a size 13 in men's makes it hard to even find the right size without crossing the gender line.

wear whatever is comfortable for you, whether it's labeled as men or women! our shoes tend to be comfortable for parkour practice because they are lightweight and flexible.
