So liekk. Everybody's got their own opinion. We all know that. So let's share our thoughts about what show we think deserves its reputation, or deserves more. Or better yet, disagree on another's opinion (yes, arguing is the best way to resolve things lol, jk.) What do you think is a great TV series? Why is it great? Why do you disagree? etc.

I'll start it off.

I just recently got into watching House. An uhmayzing show. The reason I think it's great is because it's a great combination of humor and parts of modern living. Some drama, jokes here and there, serious moments, and things that make you wanna think. Who knows, you might even learn something new which you might find useful. Wink

I watched Battlestar Galactica from start to end.

The only TV show I watch now is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but that's only on for 8-12 weeks a year. I don't really want to start anything new - there are more productive uses of my time.

I don't really mind what episodes I'm watching. I just enjoy what it is about. It's still pretty cool. But thanks for the info! Smiley

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia seemed to me like a good show but I never really got to see it. I always miss it. Mind telling me what it is about?

Being a big sci fi fan, I was really into Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. IMO, both series took a nose dive near their respective ends with predictable plots and lack of variety, but I still enjoyed them.  Currently, the only show I am into is Scrubs, but I am probably going to stop watching it after this season ends and Zach Braff leaves the show. As Zach said, I don't was to start any new series either because I could be using my time more wisely (getting a head start on my college courses...).

Might I ask where you found this, as I'm already hearing info on a 6th season (as in the season opener was shot this week and photos have leaked)...

I'm going to have to go with Big Bang Theory, House and Chuck.

I got my info from one of my professors. (I am a media student.)    Hugh Laurie is getting tired of the character. (There has been little to no character growth, and most British shows only last a couple of seasons anyway...) IMDB is not reporting the production of a 6th season from what I can see.

Interested in Stargate Universe?

Best shows: Firefly (nobody can disagree), House, Scrubs, Fringe (its alright but interesting), entourage is just fun to watch, arrested development might be the best show ever made for television.

Based on the little information I have read, I'm not expecting much. It sounded like the characters were the same cookie cutter team as in SG-1 and Atlantis, but I will probably watch the first few episodes. I had the same mindset going into Stargate Atlantis and I was pleasantly surprised by the series.

FFFFFFFFFFFFF I am in love with NCIS. <3 Currently have rented 4/5 seasons and watched every episode, AND listened to ALL of the commentary since I love these characters and the actors who play them.Grin

I also watch: CSI, CSI:NY, CSI: Miami, Numb3rs, Dexter, Psych...

EDIT: I currently only rent NCIS, and only watch the others when I can, which is hardly ever...
I do make sure to watch Deadliest Warrior and Escape to Chimp Eden, both wonderful shows, and new episodes every week. :>

I hardly ever watch tv unless there's a movie on, and this isn't on tv anymore, but I really like the anime series Death Note. I don't usually watch anime either, but this one's really high quality. I was recommended it by a friend who doesn't usually watch anime or tv either. I was up for most of the night last night with a sore throat, so I watched like half of the 37 episodes in one sitting online.  Wink Great show, you guys should check it out.
