I almost completed a pullup with 90lbs in addition today, I am still stuck at around 60 or so for reps.
Yes, I'm adding weight because my goal is currently a one handed chin, but it is proving to be much more difficult than I previously had though.
How do you progress to a higher amount of pull ups when you can barely do one? (Me) I've been working out for about a year straight, but still can't do pull ups. I bench and do pussh ups, but I just simply find it impossible to do pull ups.
You can work on assisted pull-ups or lat pulldowns if you're anywhere near a gym. If not, I would suggest trying rows and slower negatives. Once you get around the hang of a few pull-ups, it's cranking them out and cranking them out with added weight.
