=D Back at you buddy!! :)

And it's been a while ... since I said I'm sorry.

So, two weeks ago I had a great time,
Thursday - back handsprings and some backtuck work
Friday - deadlifts - 245 (way off, something off in my back)
Saturday - Hike 8.5 miles and climb / jump on rocks and logs (back worse)
Monday - Wednesday - literally on the floor, could stand about 10 minutes before 5 minutes of fetal position. Back injury for sure

Thursday better
Friday Better
Saturday almost all day with no laying down - Photoshoot
Sunday - everything that had been compensating for everything else got really angry
Monday (today) some light stretching - most of my mobility is back and 95% of the pain is gone. The worst thing I can think of is not being able to play.

Beast Coast was this weekend - didn't get to jam at all :(
Sunday of Beast at Great Falls I got to do an exercise circuit with some friends - lift heavy logs, climb stuff, throw rocks - fun!!!! Also swam about 10 mins which is a lot for me.

Monday went with Cody and Co to Georgetown and Rosslyn, trained a bit, first outdoor training in way too long!!

Actually worked on back tucks 2 days this week, a record for sure!! I think with 5 more sessions I'll have them.
Tuesday - Freerunning class - round off to punch - my round-offs were pretty bad compared to what they were in NY in 2004 - have to get them back!
Wednesday - Parkour Class - I passed Level 1! Nearly sprained ankle pushing my strides to the max
Thursday - Parkour Class - mostly coached, some balance and rail precision work

Loading the set into and out of the truck has been a hell of a workout - the guys Killed it at Carrera in NY in 100+ degree heat.

Sunday - Hike, approx 9 miles and 4,000 elevation - jogged up part of hawksbill for about 30-45 seconds - ouch!

Monday - unload and load truck again

Today (Tuesday) Work on back tucks for a few minutes - not quite back to where I was a few weeks ago - need more consistency.
fly-aways were good - worked on both laid out and tucked
standing fronts were good - landed 2 with about a 3" drop

Ate well today, steak and broccoli

Did some training outdoors today with Julian Vasquez, Blake and Everett as well as Tim Bergling. Then did some flippy stuff indoors, and stretching, YES I actually stretched. Travis saw it and almost passed out :P

This past weekend in NY I did a lil' bit with the Bar-Barians at Thompkins Park, and Sunday did some rock crawling at Heckscher in Central Park with Jesse Danger, Elet, Metze, Brian Prince, and a few other people. Definitely as much exercise as I've gotten in a while!

I have been alive for 15,275 days. Today I learned new things. I challenged myself. I overcame fears, and I did things I have not been able to do previously. Finally, I stretched on the roof at sunset with my girlfriend. It was a good day.

Parkour class - jumping on rails - first cat to two rails, then underbar through, then vault over then monkey over, then turnvault. A few of the progressions took me a couple of tries, but I got them all. Then I did some rail precisions which were pretty good for me. Then I did my first monkey plant on a rail. I know it seems silly that' I've gotten this far without having done that, but it felt good to check that off. Did it about 10 times, pretty sure I'll be able to do it within1 -2 tries next time I try it.

Worked on front tucks, side slips and back tucks.
Fronts were good - tight tighter and faster - release sooner
Sides - best I've ever done, got to feet 3 times (not standing, but land on feet and keep rolling) - throw hand behind butt to stay straight
Backs - worked on "back layout to stomach" to get straight over, then went back to my side progression - almost starting over - need to be consistent!!

off to climbing - will go 5.6, 5.7, then work slowly on 5.8s to try to do as many (1?) clean as possible.

Ok, so not quite as planned but still pretty good. Gym was packed so we bouldered for a while - my second time trying it.
did like 4 V0's clean, some not so clean - didn't get a V1
5.7 on a slab for warm-up - 2 laps plus a 5.8 on the slab (short routes)
5.8 - flashed
5.8 - failed, then got it except used 1 hold that was off
5.8- -  clean
5.8 - flashed (green one on left wall)
5.10+ on slab - fail
5.9 on slab - flashed
