Here is the official thread for Fort Collins Weekly Jam At CSU!
We meet in front of CSU Lory Student Center on the Parking Lot Side near the Bus Stop Depot. We've now changed our meeting time to 11:45pm on Saturdays so we can start into warm-ups and jaming by Noon.

This is an open Jam / Practice Session for all who are interested, no matter the experience / skill level. This is primarily a time to practice technique and is NOT a formal class; though we all seem to help each other and teach what we know to those seeking help. All levels of technique will be seen and practiced, from the bare basic jumps up through unique move-combinations. Fun for the whole family

As we've been training recently, The main crew in Fort Collins Parkour has integrated conditioning exercises through-out our Saturday Jams and it's been Great!!! (I am still sore from Saturday!) These will continue for all interested.

It's a welcome change in the structure and the extra hour makes sure you'll be sore the next day haha. I like the quick core conditioning/ workout between practicing techniques.

Which places do you guys usually hit? I've never really canvased campus to find hot spots, now that the weather's improved I'd like to try some of them out.

I would answer you Chris with "Come out on Saturday and we'll show ya!" but as it turns out I won't be able to make it there this Saturday

But you're still welcome to come out

I would suggest just going for a run around campus and seeing what you see. There's good stuff everywhere! Start at the LSC maybe and head east, then south, and then back north toward the LSC. Sure would enjoy training with you!

Well got some double bad news, I will not be there this saturday again because my ferret is very sick and we will probably have to put her down tomorrow. So I headed home tonight to see her again before we take her to the vet. Hopefully the medicine she has gotten works but she's lookin pretty bad so we'll see.

. Everybody have a fun day tomorrow and work double hard for me jk. Everybody have fun and be safe tomorrow.

I appreciate the invite Logan. I usually train in Boulder with COPK on Saturdays, which is why I haven't come to jam with you guys. But I still want to meet the rest of the FoCo community as soon as I can. If you or anyone else can ever make it to one of the open gyms at Mountain Center, I'm usually there. (But the gym's closed this week for spring break. If you ever get a chance to come to a session, post up and let me know so we can finally connect.

So what if we do a technique / conditioning jam on Wednesday night @ 7.30? I have just the place - Rolland Moore Park, off of Shields between Drake and Prospect. I've been training there a bit and I'd like to show people the cool stuff I've used there. Does this time Work for everyone else?

A question for you Logan, any chance of meeting up a bit earlier on Wednesday? Say between 5:30 and 7? My Tae Kwon Do class meets at 7:30, and our master instructor is coming for a seminar, so I should definitely be there. However, if you'd be open to meeting earlier, I'd love to get a chance to come down and meet you all.

I'm deciding now then for the Official meet time for the Training Session at Rolland Moore on Wednesday the 18th March:

Let's meet @ 7.30p in Rolland Moore Park at the Playground Equipment.
The plan is to work on some Parkour Technique & Conditioning.
Directions: If you're heading from CSU campus, get on Shields & head south-bound. Past Prospect road. I believe it's your 4th turn right. Either way it's on the West side of the road. Big sign that says Rolland Moore Park. You can see Baseball Fields farther in and a Basketball court. Turn in there and head in till you see the playground equipment.

This is gonna be great! If anyone has questions please post them earlier as oppossed to later

Hey guys, I'm in town the next weekend because I have to attend a training for work. So, I'm hoping you'd be interested in meeting up sometime in the afternoon (this thing is going to be six hours long, yuck) since I know it'll be starting sometime Saturday morning. I'll put up more details as I get them. I'm hoping this can be the good thing that comes out of having to do this.
