Yes, I know what the subject says.  I'm just wondering if there are perhaps any OTHER exercises that work with balance and power.  Right now I do squats, lunges, sit-ups, push-ups, bicep curls, lunge twists, wall sits, L-Sits, one legged hops, and I think thats it.  I need more exercises that work balance and power so I can explode with power for jumps and such.  Can anyone help?

Why bicep curls?

Other than that (and the fact that this should be in the fitness section...I'll move it momentarily) you have jump squats, box jumps, broad jumps, one-legged jump squats, depth jumps, lateral lunges, power lunges...I'm sure there are more.

As for balance, try walking rails forwards, backwards, slow, stopping, eyes closed, doing pistols on a rail, two-footed squats, cat balances, precision jumps, one-legged precisions, turns and pirrouettes on a rail, etc.

Check out the fitness section on the main page. Also keep an eye out for a jump program that I should have up in the next couple of weeks.
