Sunday
so todays My rest day and I really needed it. I got fourteen hours of sleep because on friday i got zero hours of sleep. It really messes you up. I think I sprained a leg muscle too on friday with that giant game of capture the flag it was like 4 vs 11 because we were traceurs but there were so many of them. I remember once because the game was inside in this huge building me and this other traceur were cornered by like eight of them in a bar like half circle table thing and we looked at eAch other and then popvaulted over the entire pod. I also was trapped in this room and there was a long counter and i ran in and the person chasing me blocked in between the counter and the wall and then told me i was trapped. Then i ran jumped of a step block and diving konged the
Counter. I looked back and they were just staring at the counter with a look like "what the hell just happened". So yeah I was tired and I need to get a better sleep pattern.

After school today me and a couple others trained for about an hour. Getting over this feAr of heights and drops. I just automaticly think worse case scenarios. Everythings still wet though and I am really just getting tired of thissnow. At least it melts fast. Now I have a bunch of cuts and bruises, training on trees really cuts you up. I always feel pretty sluggish on mondays though. Tommorow I have soccer so i need to sleep more. How can I fix my sleep pattern I just cant seem to fall asleep?

Tuesday
Today started off with before school a bunch of us were training, working on wallspins and vaults. I finnaly am getting the pop wallspin down. I figured out you have to pop strait up and then spin i was trying to pop into the spin. Of course this is all on a very slightly slanted wall. I stiil cant do wallspins on completely vertical things. After school because I dont have soccer me and a few others went to this place called the faith center for a conditioning session. After playin some games and add on we worked on techniques
And for condiditioning wed did this really long conditioning gauntlet that has
A ton of stuff and takes a while to complete because weve extended it a bunch like three times so that made some good conditioning and that session was about an hour and a half and when I got home I worked on kongs for half an hour. I tried to do a nine foot six but only one foot six off the ground kong. Both times I tried it I would get my dive far enough but wouldnt be able to actually bring my tuck in so i would start to tuck and then hit the mats. Oh well that can just be a goal. I
Want to go to the APEX opening on saturday but i dont know if i can get a ride. Ug.
WORKOUT
2:00 total parkour training
20 minute conditioning gauntlet

So yeah not a long list but it would take forever for me to elaborate the gauntlet but it was the hardest gauntlet if done in a while. I'm pretty contented with todays workout.

I think I have my workout planned but I don't workout usually until seven. I have done kong work for a while and even though we don't usually count that as conditioning you can get some good exercise just from working on them. Wow like nobody ever posts on my log with advice, I'm just being neurotic here but does that mean I am doing a good job or nobody knows anything thAt can help me. Anyways I am probably going to go to Denver on Saturday and go to the APEX and cat fountain.but todays workout was mostly time of training something.
WORKOUT
Mile run
Thirty minutes on stationary
Thirty minutes kong work
Ten minutes total levers

Thursday
I just finished working out ten minutes ago and now My entire broken feeling body is shaking. But mentally I feel awesome. I just broke a personal record of number of total reps in a workout. My record was like eight hundred forty something and now it it one thousand!! This is crazy for me because I remember when the half angie of two hundred reps sounded like something I would not survive. I was really struggling towards the end though but I'm just happy I finished. This is it:
WORKOUT
100 pushups
100 situps
100 V-ups
100 Plant Plyos
100 chair dips
100 skull crushers
100 Dive Bombers
100 knee ups
100 walk up pushups
100 Squats

Thats it, I of coarse didn't do all of them in one set I would mix it up and give it
Variety but thats still just as hard I just prefer variety. Now I need to pass out on my bed, advice is very appreciated thanks for looking at my log.

Saturday
TRIP TO DENVER
OKay so today was the grand opening of the APEX and this is great because its a half hour ride away and people are catching planes to go to this. Around elevenish I went to a friends house and me and four others trained for a couple hours before leaving. It took us a while to find the APEX but we got there and It was amazing!!! I was dissapointed though, Not with the gym but beacuse here I was in front of one of the most amazing things Iv ever seen and a thin strip of police tape is keeping me from it :P. But then Ryan announced it would be open to the public for a while I immedietly sprinted it. Of coarse there was many many people there along with a couple camera people so it was hard to really flow. So me and my friends went down to Cat Fountain for a while just to kinda wait for it to cool down and some of the people to leave. We got to Cat Fountain and trained for an hour maybe an hour and a half and then got a ride back to the APEX at around four, FOur thirty. When we got back there were still lots of people but more just Traceurs not just people that came to check out the gym. This is where I had the most fun at the APEX is after we got back from cat fountain and I got to say I was nervous because I thought I was gonna look like a pretty crappy Traceur in front of all these people that are better than me but I think I was able to hold my own and I even did some things people couldnt do, Im not saying im better than them it just felt kinda cool. I remember earlier when I was at my friends house before we went to Denver I was on his Trampoline. And I havnt been on a Trampoline for a llllooooonnggg time and I got back into it pretty quickly. I did some front flips and then tried this thing where you jump ike you would do a backflip but instead when you jump highest you turn 180 degrees in midair into a frontflip, I dont know if it has a name I just thought it felt cool. ANyways at the APEX I won one contest and two of my friends won contests also, I wona question it was "name four current members of the Yamakasi and Noeoene could name four so they said you would win if you knew three, So all my friends knew that I probably could answer this but I didnt want to go Up becuase I thought i was wrong but my friends actualy raised my hand for me and pushed me onto the stage and hey, I was actually right! I aso got a fiveten beanie because they were thrwing them into the crowd and when I was about to catch one this guy slammed into me, cought the Beanie and of coarse it was an accident but he gave me the beanie because He didnt really need it and he just knocked me back a few feet and I know him from the crossfit when I was going through the fundementals class he was taking it too but he actually said he thought I was ready for the class for advnced people and that helped me decide to move on. SO yeah I drove away really satisfied and I got to thank those guys for a great day. :D. Oh yeah I remember also when I got home my Dad said he thought he saw me on the news with my friends and that was cool and turns out me and my friends were on two channels, just in shots of coarse I think In 9news I was at the start of the clip in a sand APK shirt hopping over a rail to get onto the stage and on FOX I was in blue pants, Sand APK shirt and Adidas Sambas Sitting on a rail while my friend in a red UF hoodie about to do a wallrun so that was just sort of cool to be shown on the news. THat was definitly one of the best days of PK iv ever had.

Wow sorry for the wall of text but thanks for reading my log.

The weather is great today but I have something till six o clock after school. Luckily I am going to open gym at cats wich is something I have really wanted to do for a while after going to the APEX so I will update when zI get back.

So just got back from CATS and it was great. For a while we were just doing Vaults and flips and then it turns out I was the only one that had Pop Wallspins down so I tought some people how. Then it was just one thing to the next and then it was time to go. So yeah it was good and I will try to do this again hopefully this week definitly next week.

Friday
Well turns out there is no open gym tonight and there is some kind of giantsnowrainfreakstorm going on so pretty much training indoors today. I'm not complaining I have a big empty room, two gymnastics mats, two soft pads, and some other stuff so I was occupied for two ours and I feel pretty satisfied now.

WORKOUT
2:00 training

Worked on:
Vaults
No momentum wallspins
Cat hangs
Flow and combos
Flips (still not landing them but on a spring floor I actually overspin so I need to find a balance)
Palmspins

And thats it so tommorow copk class and Monday open gym.

Saturday
Today I had COPK class and they are stepping up workouts but this is what today was:

WORKOUT
Jumping squats round, rest position deep squat
Pushups round, rest position hanging from bar
6 parking lot sprints
2 shuffling parking lot sprints

Actually there was more but coming back on the shuffle I tripped and would have eaten concrete but I bailed and kind of rolled out and was fine but I bashed my knee pretty hard and couldn't really lift it for a
While so I took a break and now like eight hours later it still kinds has a dull pain but I can precision and tuck jump now. Also when we did this workout it was outside in the rain and I was wearing athletic pants that actually absorb more water than I would prefer. Wierd though my knee didn't really hurt a whole lot but when I would try to do a pistol or something it would just colapse. So yeah I was really tired later but it was a good workout. But still working out in the rain is miserable if your not moving. Thats it but ill be going to open gym on Monday so I have lots to work on.

Sunday
I woke up and this is one of the sorrest times my core has ever been. I would like cripple over from pain after coughing and sittin up was painful. Now it's not that bad because I did a ton of core stretches. Not really much today but pretty much all I was doing all day was Wallspins. I have slanted, pop and two step wallspins down solid but all on a slanted wall. Today I got a three step slanted and verticalwallspins down!! This is awesome for me because this not only increases the places I can practice wallspins it feels friggen awesome!!! That pretty much is it I am going to CATS tommorow so I am psyched.

I got my broad jump to 7feet!! No I didn't improve by half a foot in little time it's because when so was doing broadjumps before I was measuring from my toes to my ankle when I land but I should really be measuring toe to toe or ankle to ankle.

I think I pulled or strained some muscles in my legs and core because it been three days from when they started being sore and they have only improved a little. Hopefully this will go away soon. Other than that there's just the black and blue bruise a little larger than a quarter from Last Saturday.

Todays training was soccer 1:30 of leg conditioning.

Advice appreciated, thats it.

Actually broad jumps should be measured from tip of toes at start to the furthest back point upon landing. You should know this from classes!  ;)

Wednesday
Okay so after I got home from school I killed some time by practicing some vaults. Then at Five I clock I got picked up to go to my schools "battle of the bands". I probably spent half an hour inside and two hours training outside with a bunch of people. We were playing a ton of games and it was actually pretty good ecxercise but then when I was leaving my friend asked me if I wanted to go to CATS so then I spent an hour and a half at CATS and got Vertical wallspins solid and worked on flips. There was alot of exercise
Today and I feel pretty tired so it was pretty fun. Oh yeah and tommorow starts our five day weekend X).
